1. The standard
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA on every product surface, in Spanish and in English, with and without large text.
This product’s audience includes people using it one-handed, in a hurry, on a five-year-old phone with a cracked screen. That is not an edge case: it is the typical case, and design decisions start from it.
2. What is in place
- Large text as a first-class variant: token values swap, the page is not scaled, and line height grows faster than font size.
- No fixed width on any component. Spanish runs 20–25% longer than English and the layout absorbs it.
- Touch targets of at least 44px, above the standard’s minimum.
- Visible focus on every interactive element and full keyboard navigation.
- `prefers-reduced-motion` fully respected: no animation, no smooth scrolling, no automatic section snapping.
- This site does not hijack scrolling. Find-in-page, paging keys, and screen-reader reading order all work as they would on any document.
3. What is not done yet
- An independent WCAG 2.2 AA audit of the product has not been completed. It is scheduled before first release.
- The interface Spanish has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker. Until it is, it is marked unreviewed in the code itself.
4. Reporting a barrier
If something stopped you from using this site or the product, write to [email protected] and tell us what happened, on which screen, and with which device or assistive technology. We respond on business days.
That address is not a crisis line. If you need to talk to someone now, call or text 988.
